"At some point…" began in 2021 to capture the frustration of living in the time of Covid. This series has continued to evolve over the past five years in meaning and materials as the political landscape continues to shift beneath our feet.

A series starting in 2021 as we were coming to terms with COVID, the rise of the religious right, the impossible to ignore systemic racism that is foundational to our society, and a mob of Americans trying to overthrow our government. The series continues to evolve each year as our imperfect democracy continues to erode before our eyes.

Reflecting on the spaces we inhabit. Being on the outside, sometimes catching a glimpse of what lies within. Being on the inside, sometimes cacthing a glimpse of what lies beyond the window.

Exploring how memories and emotions are transformed over time. Layers are slowly developed, often incorporating drawings crafted in the margins during meetings. The lines are formed on an exhale, creating space for mediation, reflection, and finding a state of flow.

This series started after stumbling on a beautifully bound, Lamali sketchbook at Top Drawer in Brookline, MA in 2020. For over six years, a collage was created as a physical reminder of the decision made to prioritize time in the studio. This is a practice of gatitude, experimentation, and channeling energy.

A series inspired by the cairns at Acadia. Cairns are historic, constructed markers placed to navigate and guide a traveler through the terrain. These cairns are maintained by an invisible network of workers who ensure the path is clear and free from unsanctioned rock piles that could lead a hiker astray. My cairns honor the individuals and organizations helping those seeking abortions to navigate this difficult terrain and receive the care they need.

This series is executed in a variety of mediums including oil paint, watercolor, krink ink, ink, drypoint, and monoprint.
